Beluga's Transatlantic Racing edition was created to mark the brand's sponsorship of offshore ocean racing — a deliberate move to position Russian vodka against Western luxury spirits on an international stage, anchoring the bottle's nautical identity to a specific competitive event rather than generic prestige marketing.

Produced at the Mariinsk Distillery in Siberia's Kemerovo Oblast, the spirit draws on soft, low-mineral artesian water from the region's deep aquifers — water chemistry that suppresses harsh congeners and allows the malt base to read cleanly on the palate.

The mash bill centres on malted barley spirit, distilled to high purity and then subjected to triple filtration through silver birch charcoal, followed by a resting period with honey and milk thistle extract — a house signature that adds a faint oily weight without sweetness. The Transatlantic expression extends this resting stage beyond the standard Beluga Noble, deepening texture.

What separates this from the core range is the addition of a rice spirit component, lending a subtly creamy mid-palate that is unusual in Russian vodka production.

Bottled at 40% ABV, non-chill-filtered to preserve the malt-derived mouthfeel; best served well-chilled to let the grain character resolve cleanly.
