Belvedere Vodka (3 L) (Illuminated)

When Polmos Żyrardów launched Belvedere in the United States in 1996, no luxury vodka category existed — Grey Goose and Ketel One had yet to arrive. The brand was built on a single deliberate constraint: 100% Dankowskie Gold rye, sourced under long-term contracts from a handful of Masovian farms, a cultivar chosen specifically for the almond, white pepper, and velvety texture it imparts — character that neutral grain spirits cannot replicate.

The Polmos Żyrardów distillery, constructed in 1910 on the Masovian Plain roughly 50 km southwest of Warsaw, draws water from two dedicated artesian wells (41.5 m and 50.5 m deep), filtered through 17 quaternary glacial terraces and an 11-step purification system including reverse osmosis, yielding zero hardness at pH 7.4. That mineral-stripped water is the silent architect of the spirit's texture.

Fermentation runs approximately 72 hours at 35°C using a proprietary distiller's yeast, reaching 6–8% ABV before three-column rectification at Polmos Żyrardów. The spirit is then filtered through activated charcoal followed by cellulose particle filters and bottled at 40% ABV with no sugar, glycerin, or additives — as mandated by the certified Polska Wódka appellation.

This 3-litre illuminated format houses the same uncompromised liquid, making the grain-forward, rye-spice character of Dankowskie Gold the centrepiece of any back bar or table presentation.
