818 Tequila launched in 2021 under Kendall Jenner, but the liquid itself is rooted in Los Altos de Jalisco — the highland sub-region where agave grows slowly in iron-rich red clay soils at roughly 2,000 metres above sea level. That altitude and mineral-dense earth push the Blue Weber agave toward a sweeter, more floral character compared to lowland Tequila Valley expressions.

The Blanco is produced from 100% Blue Weber agave harvested at full maturity, cooked in traditional autoclaves, and fermented before double distillation in pot stills. As an unaged blanco, it goes directly to bottle after distillation, preserving the raw agave character without oak influence — the defining choice for any blanco style.

What distinguishes 818 Blanco within the crowded celebrity-tequila space is its deliberate sourcing from the highlands rather than the more common Tequila Valley floor, a decision that produces a distinctly sweeter, rounder agave profile.
