Sierra Blanco (700 ml)

Sierra Tequila was established in Germany in 1981 as a brand built specifically to introduce tequila to European palates — a commercial origin that paradoxically demanded authenticity, pushing the brand to source 100% blue Weber agave from Jalisco rather than cutting with neutral spirit. Sierra Blanco is produced in the Los Altos (Highlands) region of Jalisco, where red iron-rich clay soils and elevations above 2,000 metres slow agave maturation, concentrating natural sugars and producing a distinctly sweeter, more floral agave profile compared to lowland expressions. The juice is double-distilled in pot stills and bottled unaged at 40% ABV, preserving the raw cooked-agave and herbal character that barrel time would otherwise transform. As a blanco, it undergoes no oak contact whatsoever — what reaches the glass is a direct expression of the highland terroir and distillation alone. The result is a straightforward, approachable entry point into 100% agave tequila: clean cooked agave, citrus zest, and white pepper on a light-bodied frame.
