Story: Fiano di Avellino holds the rare distinction of being Campania's only white DOCG, a recognition earned through centuries of cultivation on the steep, windswept hills east of Naples. Danimi's expression anchors itself in the volcanic soils and limestone bedrock that define the appellation's mineral signature.

Terroir: The Fiano di Avellino zone sits at 400–600 meters elevation on south-facing slopes with volcanic ash subsoil and calcareous clay. The Mediterranean climate moderates through altitude and the Caudina Valley's cooling breezes, extending ripening into October and concentrating acidity naturally.

Technique: Danimi employs native yeast fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel, preserving the varietal's aromatic precision. The wine undergoes extended lees contact (4–6 months) without oak, building textural weight while maintaining the wine's crystalline minerality. Bottling occurs in spring following vintage, allowing brief bottle age before release.

Special Feature: Fiano's phenolic ripeness—a rarity among Italian white varieties—allows this wine to age gracefully. The 2021 vintage demonstrates the variety's capacity to develop secondary complexity (dried citrus, almond skin) while retaining primary freshness through its natural acidity scaffold.

Drinking Window: 2024–2028. Peak expression at 2–3 years from vintage.
