Signature Brut Cuvée
฿฿
Huguenot Tassin is a grower-producer based in the Côte des Blancs subregion of Champagne, where chalk-rich soils and cool-climate conditions favor Chardonnay. This Signature Brut Cuvée is built on the house's core philosophy: minimal dosage and extended lees contact to develop complexity without manipulation.
The cuvée undergoes traditional méthode champenoise fermentation in bottle, with extended aging on the lees (minimum 24 months, typical for non-vintage brut). The blend centers on Chardonnay, anchoring the wine's mineral backbone and acidity. Dosage is restrained, allowing the natural dryness and autolytic character to dominate.
What distinguishes this expression: the terroir signature of chalk and flint cuts through the brioche and yeast notes typical of aged Champagne, creating a wine that tastes of stone and citrus as much as bread. The extended aging develops complexity without heaviness—a hallmark of quality grower Champagne.
Drink now through 2028. Serve at 8–10°C.
