Prosecco Spumante Extra Dry

Prosecco is the name of a white grape variety and is used for the same sparkling wine from the province of Treviso, Veneto.
We now carry new in our assortment two different qualities of Prosecco Rivani.

In 1969, the Prosecco DOC was awarded the quality level. Exactly 40 years later received the Prosecco Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG status.
Our winery is located in the town of Vidor in the heart of the vineyards of Valdobbiadene.

These sparkling wines are produced (Spumante) by the fermentation tank (Charmat or Martinotti Metodo). In this Tankgärverfahren large pressure-tight container (so-called autoclave,) is filled with the wine base and then formed by the addition of sugar and the second fermentation yeasts. The result is a sparkling wine with a fine mousse.
