The vineyard sites sit at 300–400 meters elevation on alluvial soils with clay-loam composition, characteristic of the valley's central bench lands.

The fruit undergoes temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel, then ages 12 months in French oak (mix of new and neutral barrels), allowing gradual oxidative development without over-extraction. The Reserve designation signals extended barrel contact and stricter fruit selection versus the standard bottling.
