History
The warm days and cool nights of the Napa Valley in Northern California make it the ideal place to make Bordeaux-style red wines. Although the wines of Bordeaux have historically been considered the best wines of the world, the bolder, richer, and more fruit-forward wines of California are now just as respected.

Label Description

The 2016 ‘Prince Of Hearts’ Red is absolutely fabulous. Composed of 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 38% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, and the remainder Petit Verdot, all aged 18 months in 50% new French oak.

Testing Notes

Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, it features flamboyant black cherries, warm plums and black berries notes with touches of Indian spices, menthol, rose hip tea and red earth. Medium to full-bodied, firm and with a beautifully ripe texture, it is opulent, soft and seductive through the long, earth-laced finish. 1,610 cases produced.
