San Marzano's Talo Primitivo di Manduria DOP is a characterful red from Puglia's warm southern terroir. The wine opens with a bold nose of dark fruit, cherry, and raspberry, followed by a palate of lashings of red and dark fruit with supporting notes of smoke and black pepper. Medium-full bodied with fully rounded, smooth tannins, it delivers complexity without pretension—eminently drinkable and versatile at the table. A touch spicier than typical Primitivo, with good structure and balance.
