Forward Kidd Napa

Merryvale's Forward Kidd is a Napa Valley proprietary red blend anchored by Petite Sirah (47%), with supporting roles from Mouvedre (19%), Syrah (17%), and Malbec (17%). This Rhône-inspired composition delivers a medium-full bodied wine with medium-high tannins and medium acidity, built for food pairing and cellaring.

On the palate, dark plum and black cherry dominate the primary layer, supported by blackberry and white pepper spice. Secondary notes of leather and tobacco add complexity and structure. The wine shows earthy undertones characteristic of Napa Valley terroir, with a dry finish and firm tannin grip suitable for grilled meats, braised beef, and aged cheeses.
