Michele Chiarlo's Barolo Cerequio is a single-vineyard expression of Nebbiolo from one of Piedmont's most prestigious terroirs. The 2018 vintage displays the classic architecture of fine Barolo: bright red cherry and plum on the nose, layered with tar, licorice, and delicate rose petal. Medium-full body and refined tannin structure provide elegance rather than power, with mineral undertones and hints of tobacco and leather emerging on the finish.
