Croft Late Bottled Vintage Port Douro

Croft, established in 1588, is one of the historic Port houses with a strong reputation for expressive and fruit-driven styles. The Late Bottled Vintage (LBV) Port is crafted from a single vintage, offering a more serious and concentrated profile compared to standard Ruby Port, while remaining approachable and ready to drink.

Unlike Vintage Port—which requires long bottle aging—LBV Port is aged longer in oak (typically 4–6 years) before bottling. This extended maturation softens the structure, integrates tannins, and enhances complexity, allowing the wine to be enjoyed upon release without the need for long cellaring.
