Peddlers Gin, founded in Shanghai in 2017, was China's first craft gin distillery — a deliberate bet on a city whose colonial-era cocktail culture once made it Asia's most cosmopolitan drinking capital. The barrel-aged expression takes the distillery's core Shanghai Dry Gin and rests it in ex-bourbon American oak casks, a choice that tempers the assertive juniper spine with vanilla, caramel, and toasted wood without erasing the botanical architecture beneath.

The base spirit is distilled in Shanghai, drawing on a botanical bill that leans into traditional juniper and coriander alongside locally sourced ingredients that reflect the city's position as a crossroads of Eastern and Western influence.
