Rivo Foraged Gin (500 ml)
฿2,800
Rivo Foraged Gin is produced in Lombardy's lake district — the pre-Alpine terrain between Lake Como and Lake Maggiore — where the distillery sources botanicals directly from the surrounding hillsides and shoreline flora rather than buying dried imports. That foraging-first philosophy is the founding premise: the botanical bill changes with seasonal availability, making each batch a snapshot of the local landscape at harvest time.
The base spirit is a neutral grain distillate, over which hand-foraged Alpine herbs, juniper, and lake-district botanicals are cold-macerated before distillation in a small copper pot still. The 500 ml format and limited batch sizing reflect a production model deliberately kept artisanal rather than scaled. Bottled at a moderate ABV suited to the delicate foraged character, the gin is not chill-filtered, preserving the natural oils that carry the herbal intensity.
What separates Rivo from most Italian gins is the hyper-local, seasonally variable botanical sourcing — no two batches are botanically identical — positioning it closer to a terroir-driven spirits concept than a fixed-recipe product.
