Brewdog Dead Pony Pale Ale 330ml x 24
฿5,019
When James Watt and Martin Dickie founded BrewDog in Fraserburgh in 2007, their explicit mission was to detonate the conventions of British ale — and Dead Pony Club (now Dead Pony Pale Ale) was built as proof that session-strength beer could carry the same hop aggression as a full-weight IPA. Brewed at BrewDog's Ellon facility in Aberdeenshire, a £7.8 million brewhouse drawing on local Aberdeenshire water supply, the beer uses a Maris Otter Extra Pale malt base mashed at approximately 65°C to produce a lean, dry fermentable wort that keeps body minimal and lets the hop charge dominate. Post-fermentation dry-hopping at approximately 14°C for 5 days with American and Southern Hemisphere varieties — including Cascade, Simcoe, and Chinook — drives the aromatic profile without adding bitterness units, a deliberate technique borrowed from West Coast American brewing and applied to a sub-4% ABV format. The special feature here is structural: at 3.8% ABV, Dead Pony delivers a dry-hop aromatic intensity that most pale ales only achieve at 5%+, making it a genuine category transgression in the UK session beer segment. Filtered and carbonated for consistency; vegan-certified. Drink fresh — hop aromatics in dry-hopped session beers degrade within months of packaging.
