Partagas Serie P No.2 (No Tube)
฿2,800
Don Jaime Partagás y Ravell is credited with pioneering systematic tobacco fermentation in Cuba — the multi-stage process that unlocks the deep, earthy density the house has maintained across nearly 180 years of production. That innovation is the direct reason the Serie P No. 2 smokes the way it does. All leaf — wrapper, binder, and filler — originates exclusively from Vuelta Abajo, Pinar del Río, Cuba's westernmost growing zone, where red clay soils and a persistently humid microclimate produce tobacco of unusual structural density and aromatic concentration. The torpedo vitola is constructed by a single torcedor using the Tripa Larga, Totalmente a Mano method — long filler assembled and wrapped entirely by hand — with finished cigars passing draw-testing machines and senior quality-control inspection before release; rejection rates run 10–15%. What sets the Serie P No. 2 apart within the Partagás portfolio is the torpedo format itself: the tapered head concentrates smoke and amplifies the full-body profile — rated among the most powerful in the standard Habanos lineup — beyond what the robusto-format Serie D delivers. Presented without tube in natural cedar-lined format, this is a cigar built for extended smoking sessions where the full arc of the Partagás profile — pepper, dark cocoa, leather, cedar — can develop across its length.
