Crafted by Domaine Vincent Pinard, “Grand Chemarin” is one of the domaine’s most distinctive single-vineyard expressions.

This site is known for its silex (flint) soils, which give the wine its signature smoky, mineral-driven character—often described as gunflint or struck stone.

Compared to limestone-driven cuvées like “Chêne Marchand,” Grand Chemarin offers a more powerful, linear, and intense expression, with greater depth and aging potential.

This is a wine that showcases Sauvignon Blanc at its most serious and terroir-focused, moving beyond freshness into structure and complexity.
