Saumur Blanc

A very pure fruit character aromatically here, the nose very primary still, with Chenin notes of perfumed pear and apple. The palate shows a beautiful core of acidity, with a great minerally tension to it as well, wrapped up in a supple texture, running into a very energy-charged finish. This is great stuff, in what is clearly a super vintage.
