The sophisticated Hoos Lapsang Gin combines classic juniper with rare smoked tea, thus building a bridge from west to east. Lapsang Souchong is a tea speciality from China. It originates from the mountains and is also called smoked tea, because the black tea is smoked over ignited spruce wood with resin. It is also roasted and naturally fermented. While it is possible to drink Lapsang Souchong tea, it is often mixed with other teas or products. The Hoos Lapsang Gin is sometimes peppery. Lemon peels balance the Chinese tea. Towards the finish, the gin reveals a hint of chamomile.
