Caneca (700 ml)

The Gin Xoriguer, in its tradicional clay jar Caneca, is one of two gins that enjoys worldwide recognition ofProtected Designation of Origin, "Mahon Gin". Is obtained by the distillation of juniper berries, imported from the mountains of the Mediterranean lands nearby and with a wealth of oil 7 to 9 per thousand, along with wine alcohol of agricultural origin and other native herbs, in copper stills so-called primitive working under direct fire of wood trees from Menorca. The water used was subjected to filtration and treatment for obtain maximum purity.

These herbs are those that provide its distinctive bouquet, and its identity and the extent to which is added to the distillate is the secret jealously guarded by the Pons family heirs.

The Gin Xoriguer is stored in oak barrels until bottling, that which gives it its delicate flavor. The final product is bright, dry, clear, light-bodied, with soft aroma of juniper, herbs, like rosemary and thyme, fruit and woody delicate taste with a clean and prolonged flavour on the palate.
