Romeo Y Julieta Short Churchills (15 Sticks per Box) (Aluminum Tube)
฿32,300
When Sir Winston Churchill visited the Romeo y Julieta factory in Havana in 1946 and declared his preference for the 7×47 Julieta No. 2, the brand named the size after him — and every cigar house on earth subsequently adopted 'Churchill' as a standard vitola designation. The Short Churchills compress that legacy into a shorter ring, preserving the house blend's architecture in a more concentrated draw. Tobacco is sourced exclusively from Vuelta Abajo, Pinar del Río — a Habanos Protected Appellation of Origin — where red colorado clay soils, warm humid air, and reliable trade winds produce leaves with an exceptional balance of combustibility, strength, and aromatic complexity. Sun-grown leaves form the filler and binder; a shade-grown Criollo wrapper from the same zone delivers finer texture and controlled burn. Post-harvest, leaves are air-cured 25–50 days in ventilated barns, then undergo bulk fermentation in pilones at 40–50°C for 15–90 days to strip ammonia and develop layered flavor. Each cigar is totalmente a mano, tripa larga — long-filler, entirely hand-rolled by torcedores. The cedar-lined aluminum tube is not merely packaging: it actively regulates humidity during transit and aging, making this the format of choice for gifting and cellaring. The medium-bodied house profile — citrus zest, roasted almond, cedar, and a trailing dark chocolate finish — remains consistent across the 15-stick box.
