Romeo Y Julieta No.3 (3 Sticks per Box) (Aluminum Tube)
฿3,300
When Sir Winston Churchill visited the Romeo y Julieta factory in Havana in 1946 and declared his preference for the 7×47 Julieta No. 2, the brand immortalised his name in a vitola format now adopted universally across the cigar world — a single visit that reshaped an entire industry's vocabulary. The No. 3, a petit corona expression, draws from the same Vuelta Abajo terroir: red colorado clay soils in Pinar del Río's Protected Appellation of Origin, where warm humidity and consistent trade winds produce filler leaves of exceptional combustibility and aromatic density. Shade-grown Criollo wrapper from the same zone delivers a finer-textured, more restrained exterior leaf. Production follows totalmente a mano, tripa larga — entirely handmade, long-filler construction by torcedores — with leaves air-cured in ventilated barns for 25–50 days, then bulk-fermented in pilones at 40–50°C for 15–90 days to strip ammonia and develop layered complexity. The cedar-lined aluminum tube (Cedros de Luxe format) is not merely packaging: the cedar insert actively continues micro-humidification and imparts a secondary aromatic layer absent in standard box presentation. At the petit corona format, the No. 3 concentrates the house's citrus-almond-cedar profile into a shorter, more intense draw than the flagship Churchill — the same all-Cuban blend, compressed into a format that burns cooler and delivers more immediate complexity per centimetre.
